The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced personal injury fee earner (to train into clinical negligence) or an experienced clinical negligence fee earner to join our Clinical Negligence Department.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing excellent customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Role
You will be an integral part of the Clinical Negligence Department and will be expected to work both independently and as part of this expanding team.You will run a case load of clinical negligence cases and will also assist the head of the Department in the conduct of high value clinical negligence and catastrophic injury claims.Your role will, after training, include the evaluation of new leads.You will have a good theoretical understanding and practical experience in
conducting claims for personal injury and/or clinical negligence from initial instruction to settlement or trial.You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to identify issues arising from the medical records in relation to date of knowledge, limitation, breach of duty and causation.You will have litigation experience. You will be expected to assist with supervision of more junior members of the team.This is an expanding department with excellent opportunities to progress.

Responsibilities
Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing them with necessary information and assistance.
Manage incoming calls and emails, ensuring effective phone etiquette at all times.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using various software applications.
Maintain organised filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
Support the administrative team with clerical duties as needed, including typing correspondence.
Utilise Google Suite to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as required.
Coordinate office supplies and inventory management to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
Proficient in Google
Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
Strong administrative skills with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.
Experience in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent clerical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy office environment.
